If you have one of our puppies and are on facebook, please consider becoming a "friend" of our Lumineux page, - I can then join you into our facebook group where you can interact with or chat to other owners of our Belgian Shepherds and some lovely friends with Belgians, it's an excellent way to keep in touch and to share information, ask questions and share photos of your dogs, you can particpate as much or as little as you like, but the option is always there :)

Hi everyone and welcome to the web home of Lumineux Belgian Shepherds :)

Appologies for the lack of updates, I've recently begun the well overdue task of updating my website.

For everyone who owns/has owned one of my Belgians, or a Belgia we have rehomed, if you haven't been in contact lately could you please let me know how you Belgian is going, or if they have passed on....
Could you please have a look at my Previous Litters page and let me know of any discrepancies, or any health issues etc that I don't have listed. The litters are listed in date order with most recent at the top, you can also use your browsers search function and search by your dogs name.

Our results from the Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Victoria Champ Show 2/11/2019. Judge Mr Brice Roise (France).

Tervueren.

Ivy - Lumineux Firebird - RUBOB & Bitch CC, 1st Exc Australian Bred Bitch Class and Best Australian Bred in Show. Ivy & Pinks Sire Basil, was BISS

Lilly - Ch Bellshill Coast Guard (Imp NZ) - !st Exc Open Bitch Class & Best Open Groenendael.

5th Sept 2019

Last weekend we went to NSW for the Dogs NSW Spring Fair cluster where Pink and Lilly both got their 4th CACIB's qualifying them for the Title of International Champion.
I believe Lilly is the first Groenendael in Australia (although bred in NZ) and Pink is the first Tervueren in Australia and first "Australian bred" (any variety).
On the Friday we had Pink and Lilly entered and on Saturday and Sunday we had Ivy and Lilly entered

There were a lot of kms covered in this quest and I'm not even going to think about the $ spent on fuel and accommodation! A big thankyou to Paul Barker for the many hours of driving (NSW and SA trips) and for helping when I needed another handler for group specials

;) and thankyou also to Ashley Hoffman (Lilly's second mum) for handling Lilly at the NSW shows.

We're back and almost recovered from our trip to South Australia for The Dogs SA Winter International weekend. We took 2 girls with us, Pink (Tervueren) and Lilly (Groenendael)

We met and made some new friends, caught up with some old friends and mostly had an enjoyable but tiring time (except for a stressful incident at the show Sunday morning, when a nut job almost ran the dogs over - I literally dragged them out of her way as she sped up whilst turning into them!
