AUST CH NAIRAM HIGH LIGHT

Sire: Belwarra Fanfares Gift * Dam: Ch Belwarra Elissa CD

9th April 1987 to 5th June 2002

Ebony, was my first Belgian and the beginning of my obsession. She produced two litters, the first of which included Aust Ch Lumineux Moonglow, Aust Ch Lumineux Moonlight and Lumineux Moongleam C.D. and the second which produced my beautiful Aust Ch Lumineux Burn For You, who has herself produced some lovely puppies, she and Ebony are behind most of the "Lumineux" dogs.

Ebony and I did dabble in a bit of obedience work with the idea of one day trialing, but I gave up that idea, as Ebony’s motto has always been "Willing to please" – "herself". She did however manage a couple of obedience awards at B.S.D.C.V. Obedience Trials (encouragement). In her younger days Ebony was an extremely lively and full on girl... one of her biggest delights was getting as dirty as possible in the shortest amount of time ( something she also taught her daughter Flame). As age caught up with her she (finally) settled down enough to be called a couch potato and loved to lie around on the sofa's and beds with her best friend Gemma.
Ebony was given sleep in the early hours of June the 5th, to end her pain, due to an amazingly fast onset and aggressive form of breast cancer - fifteen years after she became a part of my life.
Ebony, my special girl, you've been with me through so much, the good and the bad, you were truly the High Light of my life. Now reunited with your friends Gemma and Max.

Remembered always - Lumineux" (Luminous) - my prefix, is derived from Ebony’s name "High Light".

Ebony

My lovely one
My dear one
I loved you from the start
Even knowing one day
You would break my heart

A shining light
That burned so bright
I loved you till the end
You were the Highlight of my life
My best, most faithful friend
