Velvet came to us as an older puppy, she was co-owned and shown to her Aust Champion Title by myself and another party.
Velvet had limited hearing and she was having trouble recognising and responding to signals from the other dogs, so decided to rehome her where she didn't have to cope with the competition of the other dogs - this worked out well for all concerned. Velvet went to live on a property in Wangaratta (country Victoria) with her brother "Nelson"and new owner Peter.
Velvet was given sleep in Oct 2006 due to old age, she seemed to age very quickly after loosing her brother Nelson earlier in the year. We are extremely grateful Velvet had such a good and long life with her brother and thank Peter for looking after her so well.
