6/12/2000 - "She has grown into a lovely dog, quite big (particularly when she stands on\par her hind legs!) and we are quite besotted with her, as are all our family."
3/7/2000 - "Abbie is wonderful. She is very affectionate and she is now friends with Oscar, the Maltese, and she kisses Gus, the cat. She loves grabbing Oscar by the tail and not letting go!! They play chasing all over\par the house, out through the cat door and around the garden. She also plays with the ball, bringing it back to us and dropping it and she comes when she\par is called. She is certainly very intelligent. We have been enjoying our\par walks with her as she is great on a lead.Thanks for letting us have her."
